Join us at Housing Central, BC’s Affordable Housing Conference as we celebrate the incredible achievements of the past year and get inspired to make the most of the tremendous growth and opportunity on the horizon.

It’s been a transformative year for the community housing sector as election investment promises have become reality – and the big picture is beginning to change for the better. Temporary modular homes are being built to help address homelessness. More affordable housing developments are in the pipeline, destined to ease pressure throughout the entire housing continuum. Innovative collaborations in the community housing sector – between the private sector, municipalities, faith groups, Indigenous communities, non-profits, co-ops and more – are breaking ground on a whole new way of tackling our province’s housing crisis.

We all have a stake in creating a future where everyone has access to a safe, secure and affordable home. That’s why it’s more important than ever that the community housing sector mobilizes effectively to lead the evolution in value-added partnerships, and to collaborate on cutting-edge solutions that will take advantage of new investments to deliver affordable housing throughout the province.

Housing Central is here to help make that happen. The education sessions, keynotes and guest speakers, networking events and tradeshow at this year’s conference are designed not only to bolster our delegates’ individual professional development but also to empower and uplift our sector as a whole. When we’re ahead of the knowledge curve, amazing things can happen.

BC Non-Profit Housing Association, Co-op Housing Federation of BC and Aboriginal Housing Management Association have joined forces once again to bring you Canada’s largest affordable housing conference. We’re thrilled to welcome delegates to our new location in the heart of downtown Vancouver at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre. As affordable housing advocates we are stronger when we connect and collaborate across organizations and sectors, so join us for three days of learning, networking and sharing of exciting ideas that will propel us to new heights in the year to come.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2018 Housing Central Conference!
